Metal for Miracles

We are proud to support Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

In 2003, we initiated the “Metal for Miracles” program. For every tonne of scrap steel recycled, the company donates $1.00 to the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

Sell & Parker’s donations fund:

  • The ICU Fellowship Program
  • Nursing Scholarships
  • Refurbishments of Randwick ICU Ward & Sunny’s Café spaces.
  • Vital hospital equipment for the ICU at SCH, Randwick.

We are pleased to help sick kids fight critical illnesses and support SCHN with the latest equipment, especially during trying times like the COVID pandemic.

SCHF installed Two murals at the ICU reception & clinical space to acknowledge our contribution to ICU.

2021

We donated waste management in kind to Sunny's café and Courtyard Renovation at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

In November, we celebrated the milestone of $5 MILLION through a Lifetime of Giving!

2020

2019

The annual car crush was completed in June with great response. St Brigid’s Primary School in Coogee & Channel Nine attended along with Ollie O'Baily-Reilly, a young patient of SCH.

2018

On November 21st, SCHF celebrated the milestone of $4 MILLION of funds raised through our Metal for Miracles Campaign!

2018

The 2018 Car Crush was a huge success with 15 boys from Waverley public school and Hospital Patient Mary Chaarand her parents.

We made a $50k pledge at the 2018 Gold Dinner.

2016

We began supporting SCHF by attending events such as Silver Party, Gold Dinner & Gold Week.

$10,000 was pledged to SCHF through the OTTO Gold Lunch this year!

2003

Our sponsorship began through the ’Metal for Miracles’ Campaign. For every tonne of scrap metal recycled, $1 was donated to the ICU.

To date, we have donated $5.58 million!

As a customer, you would be welcome to piggyback on the program and market it via internal newsletters. Our monthly invoice automatically includes an update on the program.
